WEBSITE DESIGN FOR THERAPISTS

A website isn’t just a place where you put information on the work you do. It holds your voice, your values, your energy and the unique way you work.

SUPPORT TAILORED TO HELP YOU GROW AS A THERAPIST

When I first started my therapy practice, I had more questions than answers. I knew I wanted to help people, but I had no idea how to express who I was a therapist. No matter who I turned to, I couldn’t find anyone who truly understood my vision or show the kind of work I wanted to do online.

The professionals I spoke to were skilled, but they weren’t living and breathing the therapy world the way I was; and that made all the difference. So I taught myself by building my own website (twice!). It’s become another form of creative expression that I thoroughly enjoy. Over time, I learned how to translate therapeutic identity into visuals, words, and spaces that actually feel like the person behind them. Now, I help other therapists do the same. To create websites that look good and feel true to who they are.

Whether you’re newly qualified, rebranding, or stepping into a clearer professional identity, I’m here to help bring your vision to life and make your website feel uniquely yours.

STEP 1 - FIND YOUR DIRECTION

Before we talk design, we slow down and explore you; who you are, how you work, and where you’re headed.

These reflective, supervision-style sessions help you get grounded in:

    •    Your values, strengths, and therapeutic identity
    •    The clients, settings, or systems that energise you
    •    The energy you want people to feel when they land on your site
    •    Colours, textures, words, and themes that resonate
    •    What makes your work unique
    •    How your story shapes your practice and future direction

This is where your website’s personality and purpose truly come alive.

STEP 2 - DESIGN & BUILD

With your identity and direction in place, I translate everything into a website that feels aligned, professional, and authentically you.

This includes:

    •    Layout and structure
    •    Colour palettes and typography
    •    Imagery and graphics
    •    Clear, client-friendly navigation
    •    Text that reflects your tone
    •    SEO foundations so people can find you (package dependant)

You get regular check-ins and previews as the design unfolds.

STEP 3 - LAUNCH & MAINTAIN

Once everything is polished and ready:

    •    We launch your beautiful new site
    •    I make sure it works on every device
    •    You get simple guidance on maintaining and updating it

•    You’ll get your colour codes and typography shared so your social media can be uniform with your website

•    Ongoing support is available if you’d like me to handle tweaks or content changes

WEBSITES I'VE CREATED

I like to design websites that feel warm and true to the therapist behind them.

Here are two examples of the spaces I’ve built. Each one shaped around the therapist’s identity, tone, and the young people and families they support.

Rubix Therapy

A bright, colourful website designed for me – a creative arts therapist working with children and young people.
This site blends playful shapes, warm tones, and clear messaging to reflect a trauma-informed, child-centred approach.

Focus: bold colours, friendly visuals, accessible structure, and a welcoming feel for young people, parents and schools.

Shining Gems Child Therapy

A calm, crystal-inspired website created for a therapist holistically supporting children’s emotional wellbeing.
The design uses soothing blues, soft curves, and gentle typography to echo the practice’s message: helping your inner light shine out.

Focus: clear pathways for support, warm call-to-action buttons, and a nurturing, approachable tone.

KIND WORDS

Ashleigh was a joy to work with and she is very good at what she does. She added little special touches to the website to enhance my brand and make it more me and she was patient and listened to everything I wanted and made it happen. The website looks better than I could have imagined and I’m a very happy customer! Thanks Ashleigh.
