What Rubix Therapy Is All About

Welcome to Creative Arts for the Heart – the heart of what we do at Rubix Therapy. This space is intentional, playful, and creative, offering children, teens, therapists, and families a safe place to be exactly as they are.

Through play, art, and creative exploration, we gently untangle what’s beneath the surface. After all, not every feeling speaks in words. Instead, they often show up in paint, movement, music, story – or silence.

My work is trauma-informed, relational and rooted in the belief that every person carries the inner wisdom and resilience they need to heal and grow. I’m just here to help you reconnect with it – whether you’re navigating big feelings, exploring identity, or stepping into your therapeutic career.

At Rubix Therapy, we are committed to inclusivity and equity. Everyone is welcome here. Every story matters.

Hi I'm Ashleigh!

Creativity isn’t just a technique – it’s a way of being.

I support children and teens navigating emotions, families seeking connection, and therapists finding their understanding in creativity. My work is grounded in warmth, attunement, and curiosity — with space for glitter, music, movement, and laughter along the way. Because healing doesn’t always need to feel heavy.

As someone who advocates for the systems around children and young people, I also work closely with schools, parents, and professionals to create meaningful, collaborative support. I value personalised approaches — because after all, not every key fits the same lock.

Outside of the therapy room, I love music, painting, cooking, baking and travelling to new places. Creativity and curiosity lives in everything I do, and I’m grateful to share it with those I support.

I am a Play and Creative Arts Therapist accredited by PTUK and registered with BACP.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Years Education, a PGDip in Play and Creative Arts Therapy, a PQCert in Counselling Children and Young People Creatively, and a qualification in Creative Supervision.

My approach combines solid professional training with creativity and connection at its heart.
